The Old Hospital Gallery & Museum

Located right in Manning. Built as an United Church Missionary Hospital, the Battle River Hospital was a key reason for the development of the Town of Manning.  Built in 1937 by community volunteers, and operated by missionaries, the Battle River Hospital was one of the first buildings in the area.  It quickly became an integral part of the region.

The hospital remained in use until 1955 when the new, more modern Manning Municipal Hospital was built.

Battle River Agricultural Society Fair & Rodeo

The rodeo is put on annually by the Battle River Ag Society and has always been Manning’s most attended event. Rodeo enthusiasts come from all over to watch and participate in the events in July. There is a demolition derby, parade, rodeo events, chuck wagons, and usually amusement park rides all weekend for kids of all ages to enjoy.
